ShotEdit is built and operated by Novrik Digital LLC, a small software company registered in the State of Wyoming, United States. The site has been online since November 2023 and today offers a set of everyday image tools in nine languages.

Privacy-Aware by Design
Every ShotEdit tool runs locally in your browser. When you pick a file, it is read and processed by code running on your own device, and the result is handed back to you as a download or clipboard copy. Your images are never uploaded to ShotEdit servers, which also means there is no upload queue to wait for and nothing left behind after you close the tab. The Privacy Policy explains the small amount of technical data that hosting, analytics, and advertising providers do process.
How We Build
We favour practical defaults over endless options: readable exports, consistent templates, simple controls, and clear format choices. Heavy lifting such as AVIF, GIF, and PNG encoding is done with WebAssembly modules so it stays fast without a server. Open-source components we rely on are credited on the third-party notices page, and step-by-step tutorials live in the ShotEdit Guides.
How ShotEdit Stays Free
ShotEdit has no accounts, no paid plans, and no watermarks. Since September 2026 every feature is free for everyone. To cover hosting and development, the site may show a limited number of clearly labelled ads served by Google AdSense. Ads never sit on top of the editing area, and using any tool never requires clicking one.
